Ladies and Gentlemen, I am a Designer. How may I be of service to you today?

Living and working in San Francisco for over 30 years I enjoy working with local Bay Area clients who I can actually shake hands with, if not talk about your project over a cup of coffee. In the age of smart phones & social networking you won't find me asking you to be my Facebook friend or doing any Tweeting or texting. Why? Because I think true personal contact, even if just on the phone, builds a better designer/client relationship, which in turn results in a better product.

What do I mean by "Think Globally, Design Locally"? It means doing things that can make a difference. It means doing work and working in a way that matches my values of creating meaningful work, engaging in mutually beneficial relationships which can have a positive influence on the environment around me.

I have both designed and built websites from the ground up as well as coded websites for other designers. My design talents and skill set go far beyond web alone. I have worked in the broadcast and advertising arena doing both design and 3D animation and my work has been seen nationwide. I am well versed in Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator & 3D Studio. My broad experience in design and advertising give me the unique advantage of understanding the needs of my clients on both the level of design and marketing on the web. I am driven by a strong sense of creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail. When times get stressful I believe my good sense of humor helps too!

One of my other passions is music; both playing and listening. I have had the privilege of playing drums with many talented musicians in several bands over the years. I currently, and for the last decade, have played with the band Bob's Driveway which was formed with close friend, Bob Spector. The band has performed annually at the legendary S.F. Bay to Breakers race for the last 15 years!
